Do obese people get quality treatment when admitted to a hospital?

I put this question into the search engine and it came up with articles ranging from "Doctors refuse knee replacement surgery on the obese" to articles such as "the obese should pay for their own health care". The answer I was looking for relates to "how" a person is treated once admitted into the hospital - such as a diabetic and the complications like dialysis for kidney failure. It surprised me the range of articles bashing the obese. I suppose that in doing this research I did get an answer - obese people are treated differently in hospitals. I would like your opinion or experience.
