I am 5 months pregnant and my husband wants to move be across the world away from my mom?

I live in the Texas with my husband but he is from New Zealand. We have been married for 2 years and are expecting our first baby. When we first got together he always asked my opinion on everything. After marriage he started making decisions that affected us without even asking me. The worst is he has recently agreed to move us to New Zealand and help his dad on his sheep farm. I agree that since he is their only son and his dad is getting up there in age it was not unreasonable that we would move to New Zealand at some point. However, he never even asked me or talked to me about it. I also wanted to have our baby here so I can have my mom with me. She cannot visit New Zealand because she has Kidney Dialysis three times a week and is way to fragile. Why does he do this and where does this mentality come from, also is it unreasonable that I would be mad about this?
