My mother has 10 percent kidney function left since 1 month now.?

we took her to hospital and they said she have fluid in her lungs gave medicine to clear the fluid. They said no dialysis is needed and sent her home. what will happen to my mom now. I Love my mom very much. why did they not keep her in hospital
