The name of a pc game.?

does anybody know the name of a game that you play on the pc...you have to solve a murder that took place the clues are in the house, the dr's office the pool etc. you go to the airport and catch a flight to different places. it is set in the 70's era's. it was a freeware game that was pretty decent! can anybody help us remember the name please? thankx
