How to convert a .flv file into a .mov file?

I have a PC and I use a program to download videos into my computer. And they end up saving as .flv files. I'm trying to use the footage to make GIFS on Photoshop CS4, but it needs to be in .mov form. I already have Quick Time on here. So is there any FREE software or program that I can use to convert my .flv files into .mov ones? Or anything else that would work.
